Since 2021, Mayhem Mission has been partnering with Get Strong Ministries to serve and support the CrossFit Get Strong community in Ocotal. Like Mayhem Mission, Get Strong Ministries utilizes fitness as a platform to build community, serve, and make disciples. With 1 Timothy 4:8 as its core verse, Get Strong specializes in spiritual training aimed at cultivating an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and following Him wholeheartedly. Get Strong develops disciples and creates leaders through understanding God’s Word, prayer, and service.

CrossFit Get Strong serves as a gym during the week and a church on Sundays. Carlos (last name) serves as the Head Coach of the gym as well as the Pastor of the church. During our trip, we’ll participate in CrossFit classes, build relationships with members and coaches, and serve in the local community. This includes visiting a men’s home, a nursing home, and local schools.

We are blessed to join an organization with a tremendous footprint in the local community and an ongoing ministry to an unreached population.
